These papers are available in different colors by different gsm’s. Color Teak wood, Gold Rust, Rosewood are available in 50/60 GSM, Premium Surfacings include grey, ivory, almond pink, pista green and cherry rose and are typically in the 85/100 gsm range.

Overlay Tissue which forms the top layer of the laminate is available in 18/28 GSM. The paper has high wet strength and absorbency to ensure uniform resin impregnation. It also shields the laminate and print design from stains and abrasion.

A special kind of Overlay paper is also used to print designs and fuse with melamine crockery ware.

Form the layer below the surface paper and enhance laminate opacity. They prevent underlying layers of kraft from showing through.
